Frequently asked questions ## What Readers *Ask Most* **### What is Clothoff AI?** Clothoff is a so-called nudify app: an AI tool that creates synthetic nude-style images from photos. This Clothoff AI website is an independent review catalog of third-party tools. We compare features, privacy and pricing; we do not accept uploads, process photos or generate images. **### What is nude AI?** Nude AI refers to synthetic images of nudity generated or modified using artificial intelligence. They do not reveal a person’s real body. This site publishes reviews and comparisons; it does not process user photos or generate images. **### Are there free undress AI apps?** Some providers advertise free access, but features and limits vary. Check the terms and the date in each review, then confirm the current conditions with the provider. This site does not offer its own generator or free trial. **### Do these apps generate AI videos?** Some reviewed tools offer video as well as images, but features vary by provider. Check the supported formats, available duration, and whether video requires additional credits before choosing a service. **### Clothoff, Clothof, Cloth Off or Clothesoff?** This site is called Clothoff AI. Clothesoff, Clothof, and Cloth Off may appear as search spelling variants. A similar name does not establish that another site belongs to the same publisher; check its address and operator. **### How are the scores calculated?** Each tool is tested with a fixed protocol and scored on five weighted criteria: privacy 30, quality 25, price 20, speed 15, support 10. Test dates are published; affiliate links never change a score — see How we rate. **### Is using undress AI legal in the US?** It depends on the image. Working with your own photos or those of consenting adults (18+) is lawful; publishing intimate images of a real person without consent is a federal crime under the TAKE IT DOWN Act (2025), and many states add their own [deepfake laws](/responsible-ai/#h2-states). **### Does Clothoff AI upload or store my photos?** No. This site is an editorial platform: it has no upload form and stores no images. All tests are run directly on the reviewed providers’ own sites, using the editorial team’s control photos. **### How do I report a non-consensual image?** Use the Report NCII form; NCII reports are handled first, with a 48-hour response target.
